An interesting Blog

Our intrepid Internet browser, Ronald G, has found this excellent blog  World War Two Buff Stuff  with many good links, a veritable portal to WW2 stuff. Highly recommended.

I've added it to our permanent links.

Dear Peter,
'An interesting Blog' reminds me of my link with the British and Commonwealth Museum in Bristol where I have just been to deposit Kenya films, photo's and artifacts from the late 1950's. It is housed in the Temple Mead Old Bristol Station and tells the story of 500 year British Empire from 1498 to the present day. This year it celebrates the 200th Anniversary of the birth of Isambard Kingdon Brunel.
I was particulary interested in the exhibition of Colonial and Commonwealth troups who fought for Britain in the two World Wars. The Second World War marked the emergence of strong national identities and the move to independence.
This museum is well worth a visit. It is already well used by researchers and educational establishments. (After one ticket free unlimited re-entry for a year.)
The museum is most impressive!
